It's been real

I’m shutting down the blog.¹

Over the past few years I’ve reached the the point where anything I’m truly excited to write about is probably something I’m working on, directly or indirectly. Everything else is either not that interesting to me, or will take many many hours of reading and research to write something worthwhile. I have been a little bit in denial about this fact for a while, but I simply don’t have time to spend 5-10 hours reading papers to write a post or two. Also, I’m totally incapable of forcing myself to do something that’s not interesting².

I probably won’t take the blog down, I think there’s some good stuff on it, but this is the last you’ll hear from me.

Thanks for reading over the years. Sorry to the recent subscribers who will be seeing this in their inbox.
